The daily question

Which cars are available, out, due back or waiting for turnaround before the next customer arrives?

Build the workflow around the decision

1

Select the exact car

Keep the vehicle photo, registration, current renter and status beside the handover form so staff do not update the wrong car.

2

Record the boundary

Capture fuel, odometer, condition and time at both checkout and return. Put damage evidence in the handover record, not in an informal note.

3

Prepare the next earning event

A clear return makes the car available. Damage, cleaning or a maintenance concern moves it into turnaround with an owner.

Measure the first useful outcomes

  • Cars available now
  • Returns due today
  • Average turnaround time
  • Damage follow-ups still open

Start before hardware

A phone camera and a browser-based handover can establish the most important before-and-after evidence. GPS and OBD data do not replace a photographed condition check or a named renter.
